Problem Solving Techniques: Why-Why Analysis

What is Why-Why analysis?

It is a method of identifying the root causes of the problem.

Steps for Why-Why Analysis:

In this method we have to ask 5 question to our self and have to find answer.
Every 1st question’s answer is question for 2nd question.

Step 1: -

Start with main problem which you are facing. Write this question on the top. And collect the received answer in 1st level.

Step 2:-

For each answer ask again “why this happen/done??” and write answer in 2nd level.

Step 3:-

Repeat this process for 5th level. And then stop.

Step-4:-

At the end you will find your root causes. As per below.

Difference Between : EN8 & MS Material

What is the difference between EN8 and MS material? Answer : EN 8  Material MS Material EN 8 material has higher tensile strength. MS material has comparatively low tensile strength. EN 8 material applicable when high strength required. MS material is applicable when high strength not required. EN 8 material contain 0.4% C MS material contain up to 0.25% C EN 8 material is use when other heat treatment process is carried out on it. MS material is use when no need of other heat treatment process on it. EN 8 material can use instead of MS material. MS material can not use instead of EN 8 material. Material is more expensive then MS. Material is less expensive then EN 8. Let me know if there is a addition of point or correction in any point.
