What is the difference between Hot and Cold Chamber Die Casting?

Cold Chamber Die Casting
Metal furnace required inside machine
to pour molten metal to die cavity.
Metal furnace required outside machine
to pour molten metal to die cavity.
Hot chamber die casting is preferred
the manufacturing process for metal
that has a low melting point.
Cold chamber die casting is preferred
the manufacturing process for metal
that has a high melting point.
Typical material used for hot chamber
die casting are zinc, lead and
magnesium alloy. 
Typical material used for cold chamber
die casting are alloys of aluminum,
brass and copper.
Hydraulic plunger pressure required is
lower then cold chamber die casting.
Hydraulic plunger pressure required is
higher then hot chamber die casting.
