Extrude with Cut Feature

We are going to remove material from available material with required size and shape.

So for that you have to create a solid part with Extrude Feature.

We have a block having dimension of 500 x 500 x 300 mm as shown below.

If we want to remove material on top face of block then follow below steps:-
  • Select Extrude Feature and select the top face of the block.
  • Now create a shape that you want to cut from top face.
  • After you create a shape than click OK.
Note:- Shape must be closed.
  • Now select Remove Material and change the direction of material removal.
  • Now click on OK.
