How to calculate mass of 3D model in PTC CREO

Hello Friends,

Here you will learn about "How to calculate mass of 3D model in PTC CREO?".

Before calculating mass of any model you have to assign material to that model.

OR
You can define density of material later on.

First of all open your model and then click on sequence shown in below image.

File > Prepare > Model Properties

After that doing this, below dialog box is open.

In this box, click on highlighted change.

One more dialog box is open.

As told you, you have to assign material or define density of model.

If you already assign material to model then no need to define density.

As per below screen, density is already defined as per assignment of material.

If material not assign then you have to enter density manually.

After that follow below steps.

Enter Density > Click on Calculate > Find Mass Location

After that you can show mass of model as per below.

Now note mass of model and you will done the task.

Thanks For Taking Interest.

Enjoy 😃

Difference Between : EN8 & MS Material

What is the difference between EN8 and MS material? Answer : EN 8  Material MS Material EN 8 material has higher tensile strength. MS material has comparatively low tensile strength. EN 8 material applicable when high strength required. MS material is applicable when high strength not required. EN 8 material contain 0.4% C MS material contain up to 0.25% C EN 8 material is use when other heat treatment process is carried out on it. MS material is use when no need of other heat treatment process on it. EN 8 material can use instead of MS material. MS material can not use instead of EN 8 material. Material is more expensive then MS. Material is less expensive then EN 8. Let me know if there is a addition of point or correction in any point.
